Meet the Expert Behind the Book
Tick Safety Adventures was created by Dr. Jenny Hall, a leading expert in tick safety and tick-borne diseases. She holds a Doctorate in Community Health Education with a specialization in Environmental Health and is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES®) and Health Literacy Specialist with over a decade of experience in one of the most tick-endemic states of the U.S.
Dr. Hall is an Associate Professor of Public Health, Health Sciences, and Healthcare Leadership, Associate Dean of Interprofessional Education and Practice in the Waldron College of Health and Human Services at Radford University, and the Founder of Ticks in Virginia, LLC (www.ticksinvirginia.com). She has delivered hundreds of presentations and workshops to audiences of all ages—from preschoolers to retirees—across sectors at local, state, national, and international levels. Her work is grounded in evidence, focused on practical prevention, and designed with health literacy in mind.
